• Individual and Group Psychotherapy

I provide psychotherapy virtually via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth technology to adult residents of New York state. I also provide individual “walk and talk” therapy for residents of NYC. (Locations for these walks are limited, but negotiable. I’ll work with you to identify the best and safest walks for both of us.) These sessions are scheduled weekly, for 50 minutes, unless a different schedule is clinically indicated.

I also provide group psychotherapy, which ranges in schedule, but is generally attended weekly for a minimum of one hour. Groups are typically scheduled for a cycle, varying in length from 6 to 12 weeks. Group participants may be screened for appropriateness in a free 15-minute session. You can find up-to-date information on group therapy here.

  • Fees

My full fee is $200 per individual session. I value accessibility in therapy, so I offer a set number of weekly sessions on a sliding scale for those without out-of-network benefits.

Group psychotherapy fees range from $30-$100 per session, depending on the type of group and intensity of the therapy.

All fees are due at the beginning of any therapy session. I am able to accept Venmo and cash (in-person walking sessions).

  • Insurance

I am currently out-of-network for all insurance providers.

Importantly, many people have out-of-network coverage and don’t know about it. To find out what your out-of-network mental health coverage looks like, call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:

Do I have “out-of-network mental health benefits”?

How much or what percentage of session fees are covered?

Is there an annual limit on sessions or amount reimbursed?

How do I submit claims to receive reimbursement?

How long does it take to receive my reimbursement?

Is there a deductible or necessary pre-authorization?

When you choose to use out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a monthly invoice that you submit for reimbursement.
